I have intended for some time to take a moment to send my thanks and commendations to the Greensboro crew, and particularly to Marilyn McCann, for the outstanding job they do in answering our company's challenging crating and shipping needs. With the completion
and successful rush shipment of over 100 large posters that was recently done, it felt it was high time I did so.
We are large format printers that routinely print on oversized foamboards which are at extreme risk for damage
in transit. Since everything we create is so time sensitive, having a source like Craters and Freighters who never lets us down with deadlines or quality packaging is simply invaluable. Their unfailing willingness to pick up and handle our fragile work has taken an enormous amount of stress away from our finishing department,
sales team and ultimately our clients.
Marilyn goes above and beyond with every order we place. She manages to flawlessly schedule all pickups, advise the best crating method and find the most cost effective type of shipping - all with thorough follow up. Since working with her and the staff at Craters and Freighters, I would not think of going to any other source. Keep up the good work!

We recently had the need to order a crate for a trade show where we will be exhibiting in Dubai, U.A.E.
and I came across Craters & Freighters on Alliance Drive here in Greensboro, North Carolina on the internet.
Each person I spoke with (from Jeff McCann, Marilyn and Sean) was helpful in answering my questions,
knowledgeable regarding wood, locks, etc., and suggested good ideas for making our crate
sturdier to withstand the trip to the former Saudi Arabia.
We asked for the crate to be ready by (originally Friday, Oct 14) and then we had to change the date
(moving it up) twice. They were kind enough to not only put our order ahead of others but even got the
crate to us on Monday morning, Oct 10 without so much as one complaint! Not one! In fact, on Monday, Oct. 10, I called Jeff to cancel the crate because I thought we would not have our fabric finished in time for the shipment to be in NYC by Oct 12, and Jeff said 'but we've already completed it. Needless to say, I was floored (and yet impressed), so we picked up the crate, filled it and sent it on its way. We send sincere compliments when they are due, and to the people of Craters & Freighters in Greensboro, NC, it is certainly well deserved.
We will recommend C & F to ANYONE (EVERYONE) who might need a crate done
by professional and talented people.

I really can't express my gratitude to you for "saving my bacon". I was having dinner tonight with my husband and telling him about all of these freighting issues and how you resolved everything within an hour and how I couldn't possibly thank you...
I have not practiced interior design work for years because I buy houses, remodel them, furnish them and then sell them for myself and then a friend got me to do her remodel in Pebble Beach last summer...so you can just imagine, its one thing for something you order for yourself to be late but its another thing when its a client who is a friend who is entertaining for the U.S. Open in Pebble Beach.
Please know how sincerely I appreciate your efforts to meet my needs in a timely and economical way. Craters and Freighters is all I will ever use to ship out of North Carolina.
